Cram course for ham radio license offered

CHARLESTON – The Charleston Area Volunteer Examiner Group will offer a free cram course for amateur radio general class licensing from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority, 601 Brooks St., Charleston.

Registration begins at 7:45 a.m.

All class license exams will be administered at 1:45 p.m. Costs for all examinations is $15. Bring a photo ID and copy of your license.

The course is free to those with a Technician Class license. Bring a photocopy of your license as well as an ID. The class is limited to 30 participants. Pre-registration is required.
